Events to celebrate the 2014 Manufacturing Day took place throughout every state in America this month with nearly 20 such events in Iowa alone. VirtualPaint was able to help celebrate at two such events.

This two-day event was hosted by the Iowa Waste Reduction Center and STAR4D, along with sponsor, Dove Equipment. The event focused on new environmentally-friendly and energy efficient technologies, equipment and resources for those in the painting and coatings industry. Presentations and demostrations took place throughout the event, included VirtualPaint demonstrations.
Attendees were able to learn how the system works, why virtual training is so effective, and even have a chance to practie their skills!
Tech Days took place September 30 - October 1 at the STAR4D painter training facililty in Cedar Falls, IA.
Iowa Central and Hagie Manufacturing Company Open House

Where: Clarion, IA
A couple days later Hagie Manufacturing Company held an open house in collaboration with Iowa Central Community College, one of the many community colleges that has incorporated VirtualPaint training into their curriculum. "Our community colleges like Iowa Central Community College, provide the training needed to meet these (manufacturing) demands," says a release by Iowa Central. The event offered tours of the facility and introductions to manufacturing carreers and concluded with a weld simulator and robot, as well as demonstrations on the VirtualPaint.
