Brian Roe

Brian Roe

Roe is the Van Buren Professor in the Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics at Ohio State University and leads the Ohio State Food Waste Collaborative. Roe received a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Maryland. Prior to his employment at Ohio State, Roe worked on policy issues surrounding food safety and food labeling as a Staff Fellow at the US Food and Drug Administration. Roe leads the undergraduate program in his home department and his current research includes work studying the economics of food waste and local foods.
