Julie Reinitz
Graphic Designer and Web Developer
Design and technology come together in my role as Graphic Designer and Web Developer at the IWRC. For over 25 years, I have been creating everything from compliance calendars and training guides to designing our website and digital tools that help businesses connect with IWRC’s resources. I love the mix of creativity and problem-solving when tackling a new challenge to keep our digital presence fresh.
A key accomplishment in my role was leading the IWRC’s full rebrand, ensuring a cohesive and modern visual identity across print and digital platforms. Overseeing both front and back-end development of our website redesign using Drupal 10, I created impactful illustrations and a responsive design to maximize user experience. In addition, I collaborated on a team to develop a Blackboard course for our Online Painter Training, and assisted in the development of the Paint Tracker online recordkeeping software and GrainPTE emissions calculation tool for the Iowa Air Emissions Assistance Program.
With expertise in digital art, desktop publishing, and web development, I take pride in crafting high-quality materials that enhance the IWRC’s reach and impact. Whether I am designing marketing collateral, developing interactive web features, or refining our brand identity, I am passionate about creating work that is innovative and effective.
Outside of work, I enjoy crocheting, reading, spending time with my family, and practicing waste reduction through backyard composting.
