Des Moines, IA - May 6, 2011 - Exile Brewing Co. was awarded a silver in the 2024 World Beer Cup, the most prestigious beer competition in the world. 

World Beer Cup award ceremony took place on April 24, 2024, at The Venetian in Las Vegas where awards were given in XX beer-style categories.

Exile Brewing Co. was awarded a silver award in the Munich-Style Dunkel beer style category for its G.G. Dunkel. Exile is a brewpub located in Des Moines, IA, USA that is far from ordinary and demonstrates an unparalleled commitment to innovation and quality. In addition, it boasts a silver level certification in the Iowa Green Brewery Certification Program through the Iowa Waste Reduction Center. 

Often referred to as “The Olympics of Beer,” the World Beer Cup recognizes international brewing excellence. This year’s winners were selected by an international panel of 280 beer judges from 37 countries; 9,300 total entries from 2,060 breweries and 50 total countries were evaluated.
