Royce Hammitt

Hammitt is a graduate of the University of Iowa with 30 years of wastewater treatment experience, most recently as the Manager of Operations and Maintenance at the Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Facility. In 1993, we began experimenting with accepting high strength hauled waste in order to enhance biogas production and benefit local industry. Our success with hauled wastes led to an evolving practice of looking for new ways to use biogas in order to produce the greatest economic and environmental benefit.
